Heather was amazing with my 4 year old. She was great at interacting with him so he felt comfortable getting in the chair and sitting still. His haircut was perfect.

My son is beyond picky about his hair! We have been struggling to find someone that would actually listen to him and figure out what HE wants to do! Thank God we found Shelby! She is the best! My son finally has his hair exactly like he wants it!

I followed my stylist of 20+ years to Rock Paper Clippers. I’ve been twice now and they do not disappoint. The owner is so incredibly welcoming, and has created a comfortable environment with great services and stylists.

Shelby was so great with our 2 year old’s first haircut! So patient and sweet with him! She even put a little clip of his hair in an envelope for us to keep!

Great service, better haircut, and awesome staff. Making an appointment is easy. Real clean and welcoming shop, no high pressure sales for products (but they are offered), and everyone greets you when you walk in. Been a couple times and Harley does not disappoint: great cut, good conversations, and positive vibes the whole time. I will not go anywhere else! Stylist: Harley

I brought my son Gavin there this weekend and our stylist was amazing! He was having a hard time since it was the middle of nap but she was so patient and kind! Probably seriously the best cut hes ever had!

New to the area and looking for a proper haircut I came across RPC. Set up appointment with Heather and got squared away. Very happy with the service, will return.

Edit: I did talk to the owner and explain already over text message. There is a “new” policy about children getting haircuts which was explained to me in a very rude way after the point where I would have been charged anyways if I left. I would absolutely not recommend taking a child here.

Harley is so wonderful with my son. He struggles with social anxiety and haircuts have been a challenge at times. She is so patient and great with him!!! We had our second visit with her yesterday and when we left he said “I actually really like getting my haircut by her, she is so nice.” His haircut looks great too!!!

We have been taking our sons here to get their haircuts for about a year now. I recently scheduled a beard style. I was nervous about what style to do or how good the stylist would be. Katie was great! She really visualized what I wanted and made me look good! She made me feel at ease about getting my beard styled and she answered all my questions about the daily care of my beard! I will only let her trim my beard from now on.....or any of the other ladies there! Definitely recommend not only for the way they treat my sons, but now they are the exclusive trimmer of my beard!!

It was my first time here after having bad haircuts for over a year now. I’m very anxious at new places due to this. Katie greeted me and was very welcoming and personable. When it was my turn I showed her several pictures and told her I wanted to try something I’ve never done. Her warm welcome made me feel comfortable going for it. She explained every step of the way what she was doing and was detailed about it. To say she’s the best is an understatement! I asked for a hug because I was beyond happy I could’ve cried. Thanks for making me feel like a million bucks for the first time in over a year. Have already scheduled my next appt with her and hopefully this place will become my new “home” for haircuts!!! Highly recommend this great place. Should be noted it’s a very welcoming and comfy seating environment too! Hair type: Skin fade with razor parting on the left side. Stylist: Katie is amazing! 15/10!

I love going to RPS, is so clean, smells great and play good music plus you can watch your best shows on the TV; my hairstylist Tessa is amazing, she cuts my hair better than I expected, she clean my eyebrows and the scalp massages with a warm towel on my faces are very relaxing, come and visit them so you can enjoy a good haircut but the full experience, thanks RPS.

My new favorite haircut spot here in North KC! Great, clean atmosphere, and the staff are all highly experienced and talented. Love that I can book an appointment in advance vs. having to put up with app waiting lists and hoping the place is not packed with would be walk-ins. Great selection of salon products as well!

Maranda Sutton has been cutting my hair for at least 2 years now. Everytime I go in, she remembers what we did last time, and what I liked/didn't like and makes suggestions. I always leave happy with the cut! Shes great!

Just love this place (well i am biased- i love every place where women work) but seriously, it’s the best. Harley is my girl and she understands my boys. Always kind and the best at work. All the girls that work there are great, in short you can not go wrong with any of them.

Kelsey goes over the top to make her customers happy! She recently had to cancel my appointment for a situation out of her control. She stayed after hours the following week to cut my hair. She’s the best!!

It has been a while since I’ve been satisfied with a haircut and Tessa knocked it out of the park yesterday. She was thorough, she actually knows how to do a fade, the top of my hair isn’t a bulky mess, and she literally showed me the guards she was using when doing the fade. Also she washed my hair like it was a massage. I’d recommend Tessa to anyone who wants a clean and professional haircut. I’ll be going back to her for sure.

Beth was so patient and gentle with my little guy during his first big boy haircut. He had a ton of hair and was a little unsure about cutting it, but Beth was able to calm him down and give him an amazing cut! He’s so proud of his hair now and can finally see!

We took our 2 1/2 year old son to RPC for his first haircut and I was super nervous. But, Tessa not only gave him a super cute cut, she also made him feel comfortable getting his first haircut. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I was in from out of town for an extended time period and desperately needed a haircut. It is hard to trust someone new, but Maranda did a great job and asked questions to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend Maranda!

I've been going to Rock, Paper, Clippers for a little over a year now. My previous experiences had been with the various, lower priced chains, and I was struggling to get a consistently good cut, as well as get a cut in a reasonable time (they didn't do appointments). I got my first cut here with Tessa, and I am so happy with her work. She does a great job every time, she's made suggestions on how to improve what I'm getting, and she's very accommodating when the unexpected holds me up. The price is a bit more than the chains, but it is well worth it. I HIGHLY recommend Rock, Paper Clippers, and Tessa to anyone looking for a great quality, men's hair cut.

Harley and our overall experience was fantastic. The app is really easy to use to pick a time or pick a particular stylist. The interior is very clean along with the nice decor. Harley talked through everything and what she was going to do with our Littles first haircut. We are so happy we came here and hope to come back again.

As soon as you walk in you are always greeted by somebody with a friendly smile. Tessa cuts my hair and does a phenomenal job. You can't go wrong with anyone there cutting your hair. They're all really great. I would definitely recommend going there. 5 out 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I took my 5 year old to see Katie yesterday and we had the best experience. She was so sweet and kind with my little guy and eased any nerves he may have had. Katie was very patient with him even though he would move his head. She listened to my vision for his haircut and executed it exactly, we love his new do! We will definitely be back again for any future cuts for him.

We had an appointment with Katie for our 3 year old. She was quick and super good with our son. I most appreciated that she gave me advice on how to keep his hair looking nice until his next appointment. We are already booked to go back and would recommend to anyone!

Very good experience. I’ve always had a hard time finding a barber that can cut my curly hair. Harley did an awesome job, I can say it’s the best I’ve ever felt walking out of a barber shop. I told her briefly what I was looking for and trusted her to do the rest. I could tell she’s cut curly hair plenty of times because she flew through my hair cut. Where it’s taken other barbers with 30 years exp an hour to cut it. Happy that I can finally stop searching for a barber, would highly recommend Harley. Very nice and does great work.

Great first time experience at this shop. I've been seeing Katie for over a year at another location and was excited when she said she was starting here at Rock Paper Clippers. Being able to schedule my time makes things so much easier. Not to mention how well maintained the facility is. Super clean with a welcoming atmosphere.

An excellent place. Service is exceptional, the appt process is efficient, and Harley knows what she is doing. Anymore that's not a given at a place. The personal service from Harley is what brings me back. She knows my hair and how to do it. I don't have to remember and explain how to cut my hair. For men on the go, I recommend anchoring your hair services here.

My family exclusively prefers and books with Harley for barbering services. She is professional, attentive and kind. She is mad skilled at bald fades, she has given me the best haircut I've ever had to date. She is LGBTQIA friendly, and accepting of all people. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Amazing experience…comfortable, personal service from the time i walked in the door. Abby greeted me (she had remembered me from another salon) even though I was seeing my stylist, Harley. My experience with Harley is always comfortable and good conversation! She takes her job seriously and does a great job on my hair and the wash afterwards is always the relaxing highlight. It doesn’t even seem like a job to her because she naturally can talk with people and always has a smile on her face. Would recommend Rock Paper Clippers and Harley to anyone looking for a step up in their haircut experience!! 5 stars!!

I am always nervous to get a haircut from a new place, and I came to RPC off a gut feeling. I’m extremely happy I did. I met with Beth and immediately felt very welcomed and appreciated, she was gentle and considerate, hearing out all of my ideas and giving her own. Chair talk is standard procedure but with Beth you can really tell she is genuine in her curiosity and willingness to listen and understand each customer personally. I can’t wait to come back and chat again, and get an awesome haircut of course!

I've taken my son here 3 or 4 times to get his haircut by Beth. She does a fantastic job. We come in with pictures of very specific cuts and she pulls it off every single time. My son will NOT let us take him to anyone else now! We all know the confidence an awesome haircut gives and im so happy she gives him just that!! Can't thank her enough!
